PAIRS Foundation Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026. PAIRS Foundation respects your privacy and confidentiality. We collect only what we need to answer your questions, enroll you in classes, process gifts and keep you informed, and we never sell personal information.

This Privacy Policy describes how PAIRS Foundation (“PAIRS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit pairs4me.com, register for a class, apply for a scholarship, make a donation, contact us or chat with our online assistant (collectively, the “Site”). The Yodi and My PAIRS Coach apps are covered by their own Yodi Privacy Policy, and our text-message program is governed by our SMS Terms & Conditions.

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information we collect

We may collect personal information you choose to provide, including:

  • Name, email address, phone number and city or state
  • Class, cohort and program preferences
  • Scholarship application details, including the circumstances you describe in your application
  • Donation details such as gift amount and billing information (card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by PAIRS)
  • Messages you send us through forms, email, phone or the online chat assistant

We may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, through our hosting provider and the third-party services described below.

2. How we use information

We process information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide class, scholarship and program information
  • Enroll participants, schedule classes and send reminders
  • Review scholarship applications and award assistance
  • Process donations and send receipts and acknowledgments
  • Send updates about PAIRS programs when you have asked to receive them
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

3. Forms, donations and chat

Forms. The registration, scholarship and contact forms on this Site open a message in your own email program addressed to info@PAIRS.com. Your information travels through your email provider and is received by PAIRS staff who handle enrollment and scholarships.

Donations. Online gifts are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects your payment details directly and is governed by its own privacy policy. PAIRS receives your name, contact information and gift amount in order to record and acknowledge your donation.

Chat assistant. “Emily,” the chat assistant on this Site, is provided through Retell AI. Conversations may be processed by that provider to generate responses and to help us improve the assistant. Please do not share sensitive personal or health information in chat; for confidential matters, call or email us directly.

4. AI data use

Chat inputs may be processed through AI systems to generate responses. We may use de-identified data to improve system performance and content quality. AI systems do not “learn” from individual conversations in a manner that identifies specific users.

5. Data sharing

We may share data:

  • With service providers under contract who help us operate the Site, process payments, send messages or deliver classes
  • If required by law, regulation or legal process
  • In connection with organizational restructuring

We do not sell user data. We do not share personally identifiable information with funders without explicit consent; reports to funders use aggregated or de-identified information.

6. Cookies and third-party content

The Site itself does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Embedded content and services, including YouTube videos, the Stripe donation button and the chat assistant, may set their own cookies or collect usage data under their providers’ policies. Links to Amazon, the Apple App Store, Google Play and other PAIRS websites take you to sites with their own privacy practices.

7. Data security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Use of the Site is at your own risk.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as maintaining class records, donation records required for tax reporting and scholarship files. You may request deletion by contacting info@PAIRS.com.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access
  • Correct
  • Delete
  • Restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent

To exercise these rights, or to unsubscribe from email or text updates, contact info@PAIRS.com or reply STOP to any text message.

10. Children

The Site and our text-message program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The revised version will be effective upon posting, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
